With Spring upon us, everyone is outside again and looking to move forward with the dog park. We still have a way to go with the fundraising, but we are working with the Chicago Park District to get a concept approved. Last month we received an anonymous donation for $1,000 (Thank you!), and we also partnered with Horner Park to host the Doggie Egg Hunt, where over 200 dogs and their families enjoyed a lovely treat-filled afternoon. Our next event will be held at Lagunitas Brewing Co. on June 6th, from 5:30-8:30 pm. More information to follow, but please save the date for some good beer, good food and good times!
